Will IBC’ing you in Amsterdam?
Just 8 days before the doors open at IBC 2012! This year we are making double the effort with stands in two halls, one showing partner workflows, the other core MatrixStore products and NLE integrations.
As you may have read in the storage press recently, this year we will be launching our new star product, MatrixStore Quattro. Interest is running very high in the Quattro which is no real surprise given the price point, the form factor and the ability to embed applications onto the ‘4th‘ node. Customers from smaller post facilities and outside broadcast are already lined up for when the Quattro is released later this year. Click here for more information.
At our booth of hall 6 (6.C28a), we will be demonstrating enhancements made to MatrixStore server software (3.0) which is also due to be released later this year. With the help of our customers, we have been improving DropSpot and MXFS to make protecting, finding and using your data that much easier. Given that DropSpot and MXFS are becoming more powerful (and free!) applications it is no wonder that 99% of our customers include them in their workflows.
Avid Interplay workflows feature heavily with more, requested, functionality being added to InterConnect. We also aim to demonstrate Project Parking from Marquis Broadcast which has recently been certified with MatrixStore and MXFS.
In addition to the stand in hall 6, we also have a small stand in hall 7 (7.J15d) with a few of our technology partner. Our very good friend from Cantemo and Vidispine will be available to demonstrate their very popular MediaBox DAM offering. We will also have a brand new partner in Glookast who provide intelligent ingest platforms to some of the worlds largest broadcast clients.
MatrixStore will also be present with partners in different halls and stands. Object Matrix team will join the XenData team in hall 7 (booth 7.H47) where the recent integration enabling data to be moved between MatrixStore and LTO tape will be demonstrated.
