On Monday I helped out the History Channel who wanted to do some interstitials for the new H2 channel. Chatting with the cameraman (Andy) about the workflow and Object Matrix, in general, he mentioned he was one of the first people to use DropSpot at AETN in London. He said he really liked it as he can now quickly organise the footage when he gets back to base whereas file-based content had been causing a few challenges beforehand. So in a bizarre twist of events, I got my trusty iPhone out and filmed him (it does this much better than actually making calls btw). Here is the very quick clip:
The View From Object Matrix
We love co-incidence. Thanks, Andy for the comment and agreeing to be filmed!
Thanks to Jonathan Eric Tyrrell (JET – postpost.tv) for the very fast turn around. Asked today, produced today. Hero.
