Object Matrix and IVORY are celebrating six years of business partnership. The combination of IVORY’s market insight in the media industry and business development expertise with Object Matrix’s integrated media focused private cloud platforms that enable media providers to generate and maximise new revenue streams, has proven extremely successful.
Object Matrix and IVORY talents have been working together to help content owners and producers change the way video content is stored, accessed, and shared, whilst meeting the tactical and strategic needs of many stakeholders and delivering cost efficiencies. By recruiting other technology partners to provide the relevant integrations, the companies are able to provide best-in-class services to these media groups across France, Spain, Belgium and French-speaking Africa.
MatrixStore from Object Matrix provides a media focused private cloud platform that is built upon digital content governance and object storage technology that protects and preserves content throughout its lifespan. It is an AI-ready, automated, secure, and future proof platform that is integrated into existing workflows and enables customers to consolidate silos of storage, ensuring easy access to content.
Being completely embedded in the media industry, IVORY has been able to provide global representation for Object Matrix in selected territories, helping it define and execute its sales, product and marketing strategy. From a comprehensive collaboration a real synergy has emerged between the two companies who share the same passion for the media industry.
Julien Gachot, CEO, IVORY, said:
“Having worked with Object Matrix for the past six years, we have developed a thorough understanding of both the solution and the people behind the technology. Our priority is always on ensuring our common customers get the best benefits, on premise, in a private or a hybrid cloud environment. It is always extremely rewarding to witness the positive impact the right solutions can have for media companies.”
This invaluable cooperation has involved a number of challenging and innovative projects aimed at improving workflows, discoverability, and security of content. Recent examples include supporting a geographically dispersed workflow for Spanish content provider, MEDIAPRO, which is delivering 12 channels and live coverage of La Liga football. The companies also worked with Orange (OPTV and OCS), which is faced with an ever-growing library of content to manage and whose on-demand catalogue alone amounts to more than 10,000 titles.
Jonathan Morgan, CEO, Object Matrix, added:
“In this industry, the only way to engage with organisations outside the territory in which you operate is by finding a trusted partner that is fully aligned with your strategies, ethics, and values. IVORY understand and share our company DNA and has repeatedly exceeded expectations over the past 6 years. As a result, IVORY has extended our reach in the territories they manage for us and I look forward to the next six years!”
In the coming years, digital innovations, such as Artificial Intelligence, machine learning and cloud development, will keep transforming the media industry. In this rapidly changing environment, the trusted and sustainable partnership between Object Matrix and IVORY associated with the talent pool in each company, will enable media companies to overcome upcoming challenges and maximise the opportunities these innovations deliver.
Object Matrix will be exhibiting at NAB (booth #SL5005) from 7th – 12th April.
