Solutions Architect
As a sales team member, the Solutions Architect candidate is a dynamic and hardworking technical professional with experience in successfully selling disruptive IT solutions to the Media & Entertainment market. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- In-depth technical knowledge of storage, especially NAS, SAN, and object storage in a Media and Entertainment environment (4+ years)
- Technical knowledge of public cloud storage services and their advantages and disadvantages
- Work experience or knowledge of storage as a service (especially S3) required (4+ years)
- Hands-on experience with Linux system administration (4+ years)
- Demonstrated success driving business with enterprise customers including the ability to navigate complex organizational structures
- Knowledge or understanding of SSO, Auth0, SAML, and OpenID
- Setting up and running offline tradeshow demos using virtual machines
- Understanding of Project Management frameworks such as Scrum and associated tools
- Knowledge of M&E file-based workflows (Avid, Adobe, Telestream, Signiant, etc.) 4+ years
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with all levels of technical and non-technical people
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (Computer Science degree or equivalent experience)
- 8-12 years of successful, related experience working with Customers and Partners in Tier 1 or Tier 2
- 8-12 years of experience selling software and/or storage solutions
- Proven ability to work on cross-functional teams
- Experience with Media & entertainment workflows
- Ability to communicate the difference between public cloud services, on-premise object storage, and hybrid cloud workflows
- Experience collaborating with partner teams to establish media and asset manager workflows
- Familiarity with the use of metadata in asset manager workflows
- Operating environments: Linux, Windows, Mac
- Additional languages skills preferred (French, Spanish, or German)
- Travel up to 25%
Duties:
- Capable of translating and properly articulating Perifery’s valuable technical solutions suite into customer-focused propositions
- Collaborates directly with reseller and technical partner teams to accurately define workflows that solve M&E customer pain points
- Acts as a liaison by managing and supporting all aspects of technical product evaluations at customer sites
- Works collaboratively with sales, product development, engineering, and marketing to produce enhancements as well as develop recommended installation configurations based on customer feedback
- Acts as a significant contributor to and reviewer of RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs
- Partners with Engineering as it pertains to installation, configuration, and testing of database applications as well as test and performance tools and regular assessment of the quality of our services
- Acts as a subject matter expert, by producing content as well as delivering it, through technical products, solutions, and architecture presentations (including collaterals and hands-on labs) to DataCore partners
- Creates customer case studies and provides input to technical white papers
- Represents DataCore at conferences, tradeshows, and other industry events
- Travel to meet with partners, prospects, and customers in the EMEA region; Travel to the Middle East, South Africa, the USA, and mainland Europe required

Duties:
- Assist and support the delivery of the marketing plan across all marketing channels
- Support the delivery of all other elements of the marketing plan and channel promotions as required
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external agencies to execute integrated marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital marketing, email marketing, events, and public relations
- Support the development and maintenance of our brand identity for the company, ensuring consistency across all marketing collateral
- Create compelling content, such as blog posts, whitepapers, case studies, and videos, to engage the target audience and establish thought leadership in the industry
- Drive lead generation activities by implementing effective lead generation strategies, including SEO/SEM, content marketing, social media marketing, and lead nurturing campaigns
- Coordinate with the marketing team on company participation and presence at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to enhance brand visibility and lead generation – this includes creating and implementing marketing campaigns to support pre and post event activity
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, memberships, resellers, industry influencers, and media outlets
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as sales and product management to ensure alignment and support the overall business objectives

- Strong understanding of marketing principles, strategies, and best practices
- Knowledge of digital marketing techniques, including SEO, SEM, social media marketing, email marketing, and content marketing
